FLIGHTS​

We recommend flying into Crete's Heraklion airport which is approximately a one-hour drive from Elounda. Chania is the other international airport in Crete but it is around a three hour drive from Elounda.

Manchester airport offers direct flights to Heraklion every day of the week and is the most cost-effective option of the northern airports if you prefer to fly direct.  If you don't mind a longer travel time, one-stop KLM flights from Manchester or Leeds via Amsterdam are the lowest cost option. 

 

Jet2, Tui, Easyjet, Corendon and KLM flight days vary by airport. We've found the best way to compare them all is through Kayak.co.uk. You can check prices for multiple departure airports at the same time, and select your preferred dates, flexibility, total trip length and preferred departure/arrival times. For all airlines mentioned above, checked baggage is usually an additional charge unless you buy a package holiday.
